PARENT PARTICIPATION
Since we are a cooperative school, parent participation is at the heart of our program. All families are required to work scheduled days, work an assigned housekeeping day, attend monthly general meetings, attend field trips, serve on a committee, and participate in fundraisers.
Work Days
As members of the co-op, each family contributes by working a certain number of days per month. Parent Workdays are calculated using a tried and true formula that takes into account the number of days your child(ren) attends per month, the total number of school days per month, and the total number children attending per month.
2 Day Program Parents are required to work 2-3 days per month in the classroom.
3 Day Program Parents are required to work 3-4 days per month in the classroom.
5 Day Program Parents are required to work 5-6 days per month in the classroom.
A sibling nursery is available at no additional charge, though an additional monthly work day may be required.
